Here’s my first attempt at using v-bit carving to make a simple coaster. 🙂
I simply downloaded two bitmaps (one with the border and one with the rose) from the Internet, vectorized them and used ArtCAM Express to create the tool paths. 🙂

Not bad for a first attempt. By the way, what bit did you use on this? I’m currently using an EnPoint and now I’m considering on other brands.
Hi James,
Thank you. I used a v-groove bit from Dremel which is very small (6.4 mm). I’ve ordered another v-bit like this one and I’m looking forward to test it. 🙂
Best regards
